Dx38

The Dx38 is an ideal professional sound system proces-

sor for seamlessly integrating room inﬂ uence, speaker

positioning, and parameter settings. Utilizing its cus-

tom RACE (Realtime Acoustic Cluster Editor) software,

the Dx38 models loudspeaker response within speciﬁ c

venue measurements and applies the appropriate set-

tings for both simple and complex systems, ensuring an

accurate basis to begin system tuning.

The DSP-30 is a 24-bit computer conﬁ gurable Digital

Signal Processor that combines 2-channel process-

ing with a simple two-button, eight-preset selection

interface. Its powerful processor provides a wide

range of useful system tools including speaker cross-

overs, time alignment delays, EQ, mixing and dynam-

ics control. All processing is dynamically assigned

via “drag-and drop” tools, eliminating the restraints

of conventional “ﬁ xed-signal” processors.

is a tamper-proof 2-way stereo or 3-way mono crossover designed to avoid system changes

that could inadvertently destroy a system. The switches provide for system conﬁ guration,

crossover frequency range and subwoofer mono summing. Level controls and ﬁ lter cuts are

dedicated to the front panel.

witz-Riley ﬁ lter alignments to reduce phase difﬁ culties. The identical phase character-

istics on the low and high pass outputs combined with the precise 24dB/octave rolloff

slopes, results in proper acoustic summing and frequency ranges that aren’t driven past

their limits, thereby minimizing distortion and speaker fatigue, improving overall system

performance.
